MobyMax is an online system that finds and fixes learning gaps through personalized learning. MobyMax’s adaptive curriculum creates an individualized education plan for each student, allowing gifted students to progress as quickly as they like while simultaneously ensuring that remedial students get the extra instruction they need. MobyMax was developed to enrich and supplement your child’s learning journey and was designed to improve your child’s proficiency through interactive and fun online activities.

Adaptive Math – There are three (3) modules in Mathematics: Mathematics, Fact Fluency, and Numbers.

  • Moby Math finds and fixes missing Math skills that are essential for Math comprehension. 
  • Fact Fluency‘s adaptive instruction enables students to develop math fact fluency quickly. 
  • Numbers instills a deep, intuitive sense for numbers. 

Adaptive Science – Moby Science takes full advantage of MobyMax’s innovative Touch Curriculum™ technology. The ability to interact with the curriculum increases both engagement and retention. Students build molecular models, label parts of the skeletal system, create charts, and much much more.

Language Arts –  There are three (3) modules under Language Arts: Language, Vocabulary,  and Spelling List.

  • Moby Language finds and fixes missing essential language and grammar skills. 
  • Moby Vocabulary is the fastest way to learn new words and ensures that students remember words for a lifetime. 
  • Spelling List gives teachers the ability to quickly create and assign spelling lists tailor-made for their needs. 

Early Reading – There are five (5) modules in Early Reading: Alphabet Letters, Alphabet Sounds, Early Reading Trio, Fry Sight Words, and Dolch Fry Sight Words.

  • MobyMax’s Alphabet Letters is the most efficient way for a child to learn and reinforce their letter knowledge. 
  • MobyMax’s Alphabet Sounds teaches students the phoneme represented by each letter. 
  • In each step of the Early Reading Trio, students see, hear, and interact with letters and words, allowing ample practice to strengthen their reading and phonics skills.
  • MobyMax’s Sight Words module covers all of the words in both the Dolch and Fry Sight Word lists. Teachers can choose to use both lists or just focus on one. 

Functional Reading – There are four (4) modules in Functional Reading: Functional Reading, Paired Reading Stories, Reading Skills Literature, and Reading Skills Informational.

  • MobyMax Foundational Reading focuses on key skills such as phonological and phonemic awareness, decoding, segmenting, blending, syllabication, and more. 
  • Moby Reading Stories pairs literature stories and informational articles with similar topics to encourage deep reading. 
  • Literature Skills teach the specific skills of reading such as identifying the main idea. 
  • In Reading Skills Informational, students learn how to explain key ideas and details, understand the structure of informational texts, integrate knowledge and ideas, and use evidence to support points. 

Phonics – There are three (3) modules in Phonics: Phonics and Spelling Rules, Phonics Blending, and Phonics Spelling.

  • MobyMax Phonics and Spelling Rules focuses on key skills such as phonological and phonemic awareness, decoding, segmenting, blending, syllabication, spelling patterns, and more.
  • Moby Phonics Blending is an ideal tool for blending instruction, providing students with step-by-step practice to achieve reading success.
  • In Phonics Spelling, The word list that MobyMax uses for phonics spelling has been hand curated to cover every major spelling convention and phonics rule. 

Writing – There are two (2) modules in Writing: Writing Workshop and Writing Assignment.

  • In Writing Workshop, bite-sized lessons break down writing assignments into simple steps, allowing students to focus on and improve every aspect of their writing. 
  • The Writing Assignment module is a complete submission-revision-grading system for any type of essay, report, or research paper.
